Matthew and Team: I think it's great that you are taking this into Canada. I live in Victoria, B.C. and most of my family is in P.E.I. I will do what I can to connect you with everyone I know and can probably help with some billeting, organizing, etc. I'd love to join you on the journey personally and will keep that option open to possibility. I support you fully and look forward to finding out how I can assist you in making the huge difference you are making not only in Uganda, but in the world. You guys are amazing!

Love and Hugs,

I feel that IC has been pretty intentional about the economic factor. In fact, isn't their whole bracelet program an effort towards addressing the economic disparity between the north and south. Albeit, only a fraction of people will benefit but it's a start. And the Schools for Schools program seems aimed at raising the standard of education which is positively correlated with a higher economic standard. I'd say that their efforts towards better educational opportunities will be the genesis of economic improvement.

I have seen the information about IC but I wonder why this organization does not include, as one key factor of in any analysis of peace and war, the economic variable, and the economic inequalities among countries in the world. I tried to send this comment to the IC website but it did not work.
Please, let me know.
thanks.
