"Displace Me" Web site Nominated for Webby Award

Digitaria, a full-service digital marketing and technology firm, and Invisible Children, a media-based non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and educating youth around the world, today announced that “Displace Me” is nominated as the Webby Awards’ best Activism Web site of 2008.  The mission of the Displace Me event, staged by Invisible Children, is to raise awareness of the plight of children in northern Uganda. 

IC Student from Northern Uganda Wins Scholarship to Boise State University

Acii Nancy, a beneficiary of Invisible Children’s Visible Child Scholarship Program, was selected as the winner of a four-year scholarship to Boise State University on Tuesday. She competed against forty-six other students for the honor of studying at the largest university in Idaho where more than 190 fields of interest are offered.
