I think we should put a stop to this.

Thoughts:
I think that the film is truly inspiring cause it tells us the real deal of what's going on in this world. I think we should put a stop to this.

Inspiration:
The inspiration i gained from watching the documentary was from: the crew for their help to the invisible children and the people doing something about it.

Tell People:
The message I want to give to EVERYONE is little but meaningful: '' What this kids are going through is amazing and every second of their life they know they could be killed or abducted so help to improve a better life for the kids and families".

Story:
My name is Alexander Dantes Gonzales and i live in El Cajon,CA. i'm 14 years old and i'm a 9th grader in El Cajon Valley High School. Last year when i was a 8th grader the invisible children crew came to our school and showed us this documentary, i was amazed and surprised to all the things that were going on in Africa and Nothern Uganda. To the kids and to families I was disturbed for seeing all the things that we did to put those things aside and to not do anything about this so i talked to the person running the crew and he said if i wanted to help, i could help by goin to the "global night commute" april 29,2006 and I brought as many people as could like around 25 to 29 people. To this day, I try helping by buying the braceletes and the dvds (the i.c documentary, the global night commute) and the books (global night commmute story). i will do everything to spread the word.

Story:
I think it changed a little bit in everyone who watched the video's views. After it was done.. everyone is speechless. I definitly didn't know anything about this and I am really upset that we don't see this on the news or any type of media besides this wonderful video. Thank you so much.

We as a nursing class have made the decision to make a walk just for them.

Thoughts:
I thought the movie was inspiring. If i could spend one day in their shoes just for them to live a fun life i would. No questions asked. No kid should have to live like that.

Inspiration:
How normal kids like me can step up and take a move to help the people who really need it

Tell People:
that they should help to cuz if they can't spare one minute for someone who has nothing then they are too conceited

We hosted an informational outreach party to show the film...It was an awesome success!!!

Thoughts:
It inspires people like me to do something about problems the world neglects.

Inspiration:
Our inspiration was each individual child...there may be millions of them suffering,..but each one is like us...and worth every bit of the cost to make a difference.

Tell People:
Each of the children involved with this horrendous fear and suffering are just like each of the children in your family,at your church, and at your house...they are worth everything and anything...no matter the cost...are you willing?

Tell People:
that there is more to life than shoes, and hair, and purses. there are things happening in this world, and yes it may not include you so why should you bother, but thats exactly what makes it special and fulfilling. because you are doing this out of the goodness of your heart.

Story:
ME AND MY FRIEND, BETHANY, THINK IT IS AMAZING HOW MUCH PEOPLE ARE UNAWARE JUST HOW LUCKEY THEY ARE. THEY DONT RELIZE THE GIFTS AND BLESSINGS THAT THEY HAVE. AND JUST BY WATCHING THIS MOVIE IVE RELIZED THAT YES, I DONT HAVE THE NICEST THINGS, BUT THEY ARE (sorry i accidently put it on caps) SO much more then what thousand of poeple have over in africa. we are going to raise awareness. were going to go to churchs and have booths that give information about the children, as well as ask for donations. we know we may be young, but that we have a whole lot of imagination, and we'll do what it takes.

After seeing the screening at my high school last year in March, I decided to detacte my sweet sixteen party to the invisible children.

Thoughts:
I loved it, it was so surprising that this is happening in our world and so few people knew about it.

Inspiration:
I heard that an organization that helped kids in Africa was coming to my school and I knew I wanted to be there. I attended the screening at my school and at a local church later that night.

Tell People:
That this is one of the most amazing things you can do to help others. The invisible children is such a worthy cause and I want to do everything i can to help

Story:
After seeing the screening at my high school last year in March, I decided to detacte my sweet sixteen party to the invisible children. I asked for no gifts for myself, only money for the invisible children. I raised over $200 and then my parents matched that and I sent it in as a donation.

I'm an indie film maker myself and have always dreamed of creating something that will make a difference, and IC has become my inspiration.

Thoughts:
I'm an indie film maker myself and have always dreamed of creating something that will make a difference, and IC has become my inspiration. From even a cinematic viewpoint the film was amazing, so well done, and it touched a part of me that, being male, usually try to push down but this movie pulled that soft part out of me and now I'm trying so hard to never cover it up again.

Inspiration:
The film was my inspiration and calling to organize the GNC.

Tell People:
GET INVOLVED

Story:
I saw the film at a church camp. First our intern showed the short version, but we wanted, needed, more. The next day it rained and our scheduled activities were shot, so we watched the full version. Even after that my friend and I took a laptop and stayed up all night watching it again with commentary. The next day though, the spark was gone. Everyone who had been crying or felt moved the night before were acting as if nothing had happened. And I was disgusted. I realized that if I didn't do something for IC, and do it fast, I would just break. So now I am organizing a small GNC, just within the region of VA. I'm hoping this will raise awareness locally because no one here understands what is going on over seas.

Don't run away from those who need our help!

Thoughts:
I thought the film was inspiring. Seeing it really set my soul on fire! The very beginning was funny with the snake and termite mound, so it got my attention, and then it got hard core. The shocking thing was seeing a kid my age.

Inspiration:
It was a student council state convention, and the film just really set my soul on fire.

Tell People:
Hate is a way of running away from your problems, don't run away from those who need our help!

Story:
I saw the film the day before the GNC at a Student Council screening. I almost skipped the IC station, but something told me to go on in. As I'm watching, I was amazed and just like "woah, look at those kids!" my friend saw it and was not so moved and I was like "DUDE! Did we even watch the same movie?" So I got home the next morning and told my mom about it. I went online to get all of the information and she said we could go check it out. She said we would go from about 5-7(ish) my Dad made it obvious he wanted to leave. For a while it looked like it was going to rain, but GOD wanted me there. After seeing the environment, my mom said it was okay to stay the whole night, so we drove the PT Cruiser home, left my dad to his comfy bed in our house, and went to sleep in a baseball field in the middle of the city.

I am a senior theatre major in the midwest, and I am doing my final senior project on the invisible children.

Thoughts:
I think this film has changed my life.

Inspiration:
I first heard about the IC in a class I took on Nigeria. We had a guest speaker who does government research on malaria and AIDS in various parts of Africa, and he got off on a tangent about how uninformed and lazy americans are. He mentioned the LRA and I did some research, leading me to this website and the film. I can't do alot, but I wanted to use what I can do, which is theatre.

Tell People:
If you live near Indianapolis and want to help with/see the project, contact me!

Story:
I am a senior theatre major in the midwest, and I am doing my final senior project on the invisible children. It is a conglomeration of instillation art, film, and live performance, that will hopefully bring awareness to my community and raise some money.
