Story:
i wanted to help spread the word so i looked up all the famous youtubers i could find and sent them this message: If you knew about the holocaust would you have done something about it? Even if it is too late, there are other social injustices waiting for international attention. In Northern Uganda, children are being abducted by a guerilla army to use as child soldiers. Yes, kids, what we in the United States would call 4th graders and older, are given AK-47s and threatened with death and abuse unless they do as they are told. To help, their government places families in camps to protect them from the Lords Resistance Army. But the camps are far from comfortable. In fact, the inhabitants can go for days without food and water. They sleep on cement floors with nothing but burlaps sacks. As a result, a whole generation has gone without education. This war has been going on for decades. IF WE REALLY ARE THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE why is this war still going on? Why havent we taken drastic measures to ensure safety for people in need? This is why Im asking you to use your talents and wide audiences to spread the word. Because they need this. End night commuting. End suffering. End a war. With knowledge and compassion, Rosi Vo.

My friend Chris Lopez ("C-Lo") told me about the movie and we watched it about 2 years ago... and i felt something in me want to help but i put it off... i just watched it tonight again (2 years later) and God really is saying something this time... i have so many ideas of things i want to do for them and its a matter of time for it all to take place. I have a passion for Africa, and im not sure why... im a physical therapy student here at University of Oklahoma and someday i would love to use it in Africa and start an organization to help the people in need. I really want to go to uganda and see those kids and just be there with them; thank you for sharing about a world that needs help only we can give. May the Lord bless anyone who reads this.

I never knew this type of issue and problem would be going on in the country.

Thoughts:
What I thought of the film, it was so dramatically funny, and very heartbreaking. By me watching it with my senior class at Bell High School, and seeing images of the children between the ages of 5-12 yrs old without food, beds, and education to provide them, I had to leave the room and I just started crying.

Inspiration:
My inspiration would be the children, I love kids, eventhough im the youngest in my family, I would want to help and provide good meanings to the children.

Tell People:
well, I want to tell people that, even though you live in the USA, there are so many horrible things thats going on out in other countries. As for me, I never knew and never tend to think that something like this would happen in Uganda. I just thought it was Africa, and Africa is just a country. But by me looking at it, and realizing that many people, and children in Africa are being abducted everyday, when I didn't even know it even existed...just give your heart and pride out to the kids that got abuducted in Africa.

Story:
Keep up the mission, I would like to see another adventurous documentary on other countries.

Look what just three boys could do!!! They began a revolution. All you need is the heart and the sky is the limit.

Thoughts:
I love this film so much, I think the film makers are very strong young men. They are very inspiring, and they are the kind of generation we need.

Inspiration:
Being one of the lucky Ugandans is inspiration enough for me. It could be me but by the grace of God, its not, and i just feel like i need to give thanks, by helping those in need.

Story:
I am actually from Uganda. I moved to the states in 2005 to go to college. I currently go to Utah State University. I went to high school with many of my friends that were ex rebels and many of my friends and their families fled from the north to Kampala to escape the terrible conditions. I watched the movie and my life changed. We started a club on campus called the "Aggies for Africa", and we have just been trying to get people more involved with international issues. The first Global Night Commute we had, was only attended by me and three other friends of mine. This time we are having more people drive all the way to Colorado during finals weekend just for the Invisible Children. I just want to thank every one for the great work and for going an extra mile for the people that need it the most. I am sure many of my friends in Uganda, are glad their stories have finally been told.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7553951766565612922&q=free+state+invisible+children&hl=en This is the film that we made for our high school to raise money.

Inspiration:
Our inspiration was from seeing the video, the horror and the feeling deep inside that said we couldnt walk away from this and not face it just because we were uncomfortable, everything the people at IC has done has been our inspiration

Tell People:
I want to tell everyone that you CAN do anything that you want to, but you have to want it really bad and you have to work really hard. Hard work is never easy but it is so satisfying.

Story:
Less than 50 days ago I saw the Invisible Children movie in my high school and I was so shocked with the images of the movie I knew that I had to do something. Another student in our school was organizing a walk so I jumped on board and we raised over $1,000. Then we started a club at our high school to reach out to as many students as we could. Our club started taking donations and trying to educate as many other students as possible about the war. Our latest project was to ask the entire school of about 1,200 students to bring just one dollar on a friday and we showed them our video. And on that friday we raised over $1,000 in just mere moments. Now we are working toward Displace Me to send a group over to help support what you guys are doing. In less than 50 days we have raised about $2,500!! Which for us is really great because everyone told us that it was too late in the school year to start something like this, but we didnt listen and we are doing everything we can to make this happen for you. Thanks for the support and good luck! :)

Something should be done and the government should help.

I was thinking it was just going to be another assembly at my school. But it was so much more than that.

Thoughts:
It was so moving and inspiring. I never knew things were that bad. I was so heartbroken. It touched my heart in a way I was not expecting.

It was just an assembly at my school that my teacher signed my class up for. I am so happy that my teacher did sign us up. Thank you Mrs. Farley!

God has created all of us and were all equal! so why shouldnt we be treated the same?

Thoughts:
The film was so good...I always say how much my life is going wrong just because i don't get what i really want, but after i saw the movie it totally changed my look at life. the children in Uganda go threw so much they have to wprry every night that they could become abducted and killed if the don't listen or if they start crying! Nobody desevers a life so hard that you have to sleep on water and dirt. We all in the United States take that for granted. Well, I have to say that i hope one day i can be a big help in stopping the violence.

Inspiration:
seeing little kids being beaten and i want to stop it all with help of many.

Tell People:
I just want to say that i hope you all will help the people of Uganda! And just buy the DVD all the money is sent to the people of Uganda

Story:
well i dont have a story yet because my teacher just showed us this film and i really plan on giving my time, money, and ideas. I love to help people, especially the one who have nothing to start with...everyone has a problem and i can try to help you!
