It is incredible to know that as I sit here, to type this with all my luxeries around me [...] children are DYING each and every second.

Thoughts:
It is incredible to know that as I sit here, to type this with all my luxeries around me: my computer, my water, my lights, my house, my TV, my warmth, my clothes, my full stomach, my health, etc. children are DYING each and every second. I saw this film yesterday and it touched my heart in such a way to know that all these children are dying daily. This world may be big but with God and the help of Invisible Children this crisis can be averted.

Inspiration:
A youth group missions weekend based around the Invisible Children. We watched the movie. Then took popsicle sticks and taped them to paper crosses and once we had 29,000 we brought them up to our field in the back of our church and placed them in the field and reflected about how many children die a day.

Do what's right.

Thoughts:
I think its amazing and that it really changes the way you think and feel. I learned about Invisible Children from Marcus, Jimmy and Patrick when they came to St. Pete, FL for a show. I read the global night commute book the whole time instead of paying attention to the bands. I think its amazing what everyone with Invisible Children does and I want to be just like them.

Inspiration:
I just want to do what's right, and this is it.

Tell People:
Do what's right and if your with Invisible Children keep doing what your doing and never give up. You're working towards one of the best things out there. You're doing your best, and not because you have to but because you know it's what's right. Thank you. I hope that I'll be able to go to Africa and helpout even more.

Story:
Since I've learned about it I've been eager to help. I post banners and bullentins on my myspace and post links so people can check it out. Right now its summer but I've printed out flyers and pictures and I'm going to show my friends and hang them out to people. When school starts back up I'm going to try and set up a screening and show my friends, school, and teachers what everyone isn't really seeing. I'm going to buy the films and try to get my teachers show them in class. So we can REALLY learn. Not only do I want to help, I NEED to help.

My generation can change the world so much.

Thoughts:
As a person who cares about the world this movie was truly inspiring. It brought me the will and the way to act and to make this world a better place.

Inspiration:
For an activity at my school a group of IC staff came and showed us the movie I remember the whole time watching the movie I thought to myself "I have to do something I have to help," right after the movie was over I ran to one of the IC staff, her name was Heather, and I immediently started talking to her about Displace Me. Within 30 minutes I got a club started at my school and within three days we had raised over 600 dollars.

Tell People:
No matter what- never give up hope that you can change the world. Never give up trying. Remember you don't have to close your eyes to dream and as a good friend of mine once said, "when there's nothing left to belive in belive in two things yourself and hope."

Story:
At the age of 15 I realized that there was something terribly wrong with this world. It seemed to suddenly dawn on me that somthing wasn't right, people arn't caring for one another like they used to. We arn't living like we used to all the while I see the powerful nations of the world ignoring the pleas from those who have less then us, all the while destroying our enviroment. So I decided I would try to do my part in the world to make it a better place, I don't eat chocolate or drink coffee because its made by slave labor. I shop green and I try to make my life more carbon neutral do help with the problem of global warming, I don't use words or phrases that discriminate. I actively fight and protest for anything from wars to enviormental hazards and when I saw the movie I knew I had to do somthing. I got working and I started a club at my school to help raise money for IC. I went to Displace Me to show my suport and I will continue to do anything I can to help IC.
