This past week, Jolly wrote to us, \"I would like to tell you that Museveni has won the election. As for us in the North we are in trouble with both Museveni and the rebels sounding their warnings few hours after the results was declared. Abduction? Night Commuting? HIV/Aids? Congestion in the camp is all for us. I had hope in this election thinking the Acholi people would rest. 25 years of no sleep and sounds and sights of death, horror name it.

I ask myself what wrong did we do to deserve all this. About 300 rebels are in Gulu district, they said they have come for an operation...

Some of the needs are immediate; some are for the near future. Most are for our office located in San Diego, CA; however some are for our office in Gulu, Uganda. If you already live in one of those places, great. If you think you are ready for a change of scene and pace, this may be it.

It takes an exceptional person to work for Invisible Children. IC is a unique company that is trying to change the world, and there are no blueprints for that. To work here, you must be dedicated, flexible, and an independent thinker. We work really hard, and we do not get paid much. We are serious about our goals, but keep in mind, we are ghetto. We are putting the plane together as it is flying in the air. We love what we do, and every person here feels very honored to be a part of something that is affecting lives the way that Invisible Children is.
